OCT

Advanced screening and diagnostic technology

The Clinic offers a comprehensive ophthalmic imaging service that includes advanced Retinal Photography, Fluorescein Angiography and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technologies.

Together, these technologies significantly improve diagnosis of many conditions, including retinal disease and glaucoma. They also offer an aid to screening, and provide better monitoring of disease progression and response to therapy.

• an OCT scan is non-invasive and uses near infra-red light to examine the fine structure of the retina, disc or cornea
• scans are performed by ophthalmic imaging specialists
• your referring consultant will receive the scans and will discuss them with you in person
