In the Clinic we have physiotherapists who are trained in this area for both male and female clients of all ages, and are able to assess and treat a wide range of conditions, proving highest quality care and maximising recovery. 

For women, these conditions include bladder and bowel incontinence, overactive bladder, vaginal prolapse, dyspaurenia, pelvic pain and post-gynaecology surgery. Conditions we assess and treat for men include post-prostatectomy surgery, pelvic pain and bladder and bowel dysfunction.

Do you treat male and female pelvic health issues?

Yes - Our specially trained pelvic health physiotherapists treat both male and female conditions.

How long will my appointment be?

Your appointment will last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

What do I wear to a pelvic health physiotherapy appointment?

Comfortable clothing.

What sort of conditions do you treat?

Bladder, bowel and pelvic issues (For example- bladder control- leaking with coughing, constipation, pelvic floor weakness, rectal, vaginal and pelvic pain, bowel, bladder or womb prolapse or pain, post-natal recovery).

What will happen at my appointment?

The physiotherapist will complete a full assessment detailing your symptoms and history. They may complete a vaginal and/or rectal examination but only with your consent.
